We have five specially designed rooms that cater for each developmental stage of the early years of childhood.
We have a stable team of 17 highly motivated teachers – 13 of which hold a minimum Diploma of Teachers and four teachers in training. We have a wonderful centre cook, who bakes our healthy morning and afternoon tea fresh every day. We hold a current Healthy heart award – and have done for the past two years.
Infants room - Caters for infants under 12 months, staff cater for individual routines with qualified and experienced teachers. With the knowledge that the first year brings dramatic changes in growth and development. We understand that positive interactions with babies at this age will affect their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Bambinos - Caters for children from 12 months to two years of age, these children are ready to take the next step into toddlerhood but not quite ready for our larger toddlers room.
In these rooms we use and promote baby sign language. “Baby Sign Language is all about using simple gestures with your child to allow you to communicate long before they have mastered the intricacies of speech,” states Robyn Halt founder of Baby talk. This allows us to positively communicate verbally to the children and allows the children to reply or provide us with prompts of their needs as we read into the non-verbal clues.
Toddlers - Caters for children, aged from 20 months until around three years of age. This challenging but rewarding age is celebrated in our Toddlers room where staff concentrate their time and energy designing an environment, routine and programme that best suits children at this age/stage of development.
Kinders – Caters for children aged three to four years of age. Our Kinders room is situated between Toddlers and Preschool, meaning they get the best of both worlds while still being able to close themselves off and enjoy activities within programme suited to their own interests and stages of development.
Preschool – Caters for children from three and a half to five years. Our vision is to send our children off to school with the best possible preparation we can supply so that they are happy and confident in their own abilities and are ready to take the next step in their learning journey. The Head Teacher of our Preschool Room is a Qualified Primary Teacher and Qualified early childhood Teacher, along with a Team of Qualified and dedicated Teachers they work to promote healthy positive attitudes to becoming life-long learners.
