Our Philosophy and Values
We, at ABC Aidanfield offer a safe, friendly, warm and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to play with and along side their peers.
We provide a well resourced centre that promotes children’s physical, social and educational strengths. We believe in providing high quality education and care for all the children that are in our care, extending on their own ideas and interests and providing them with the resources and time needed for them to complete tasks they have set themselves. We encourage children to be respectful, caring and thoughtful to all aspects of their day.
We believe that parents are the first educators and we value and respect their input in the children’s development and on-going care. We communicate freely and openly with parents/whānau about their child’s day.
We ensure that all children are provided with adequate time for meals, rest and also ensure that we are providing areas both inside and outside for children to have opportunity for quite time.
As a team, we understand that children learn best when they are having fun so we endeavour to provide them with fun and exciting experiences throughout their day.
Most importantly we are passionate about our jobs and look forward to providing the children and families of our centre with the best possible care and education we can.
