I have been working at ABC Albany for the last one year and enjoy the new challenges and opportunities to get to know the local community. I have worked in Early Childhood Education (ECE) for the past thirteen years. I really enjoy spending time with the children and providing them with high quality education. Every day is different and exciting, which is absolutely great.
I completed my Diploma in Teaching in 2006 and was awarded the most outstanding teacher in my year. Since then, I have continued my education as I like keeping up-to-date with new innovations and what is happening in the field of Education. I now have a Bachelor of Teaching and am currently half way through a Post Graduate Diploma specialising in ECE. I have a passion for developing children’s emergent literacy skills through play and interaction. My other research interests are supporting infants and toddlers, visual arts and program planning, helping children transiting to school and creating stimulating environments for the children.
I look forward to meeting new families and making a real difference in people’s lives.
