I was born in Whangarei and raised there until I moved to Auckland to gain my Early Childhood (ECE) degree in 2004. I still enjoy travelling back home to visit my family as most of them are still based up north, and it is a lovely place to spend time when Auckland life (and traffic!) gets a little too much!
I have been in this industry for just over six years now and have been at this centre for almost all of that time. I have a passion for children and life in general. I also really enjoy travelling and spending time at the beach with my family and friends.
I genuinely love my job and every aspect of it. I enjoy the balance of spending time with the children, and then also the other side which is management. I couldn’t think of a more perfect profession for myself and love coming to work each day and making a difference to the lives of young children.
