Hi! My name is Vicki Nimmo and I am your Centre Manager here at ABC Bayfair. I am originally from Rotorua, where I first started out in childcare and have been living in Papamoa with my husband and two children for the past 12 years.
I have 17 years of experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE), with children between ages 0-5 years and have worked in a variety of centres – privately owned, community based, home based and corporate. I have worked with ABC Learning Centres since they started in New Zealand, and love the fact that they pride themselves with such high standards of education and care for all children. I feel very lucky and privileged to manage a centre that meets the needs of our children and their families within our community.
ECE is definitely my passion and I couldn’t dream of working anywhere else. It truly is a very rewarding job especially to see the learning and development that takes place over the first five years of ones life and be able to confidently say that I played a vital part in this child’s early years and be proud of the journey they have had whilst in our care.
