The ABC Gillies Avenue team put their personal values and beliefs into the below centre philosophy:
The ABC Gillies Avenue team ensures the centre has a caring and warm environment to enable children to learn, grow and develop through all opportunities.
We aim to initiate, maintain and extend opportunities that will challenge and allow children to ‘flourish’ in all areas of learning. We will strive to identify and encourage children’s dispositions through a variety of learning opportunities.
We aim to provide children with opportunities to become independent in not only making their own decisions but to learn and develop self help skills, social skills and learn alongside their peers.
The environment will enable children to be themselves and feel confident with who they are and what they can do and also have the opportunity to develop in an interest they may have.
Children must feel comfortable and be happy at ABC Gillies Avenue, more care and support is offered in time of need.
